COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course may be taken:
- within the undergraduate curriculum;
- within a master’s degree subsequent to the bachelor’s degree or technical diploma
It is suitable for architects and civil and technological engineers who have taken:
- construction science courses (architects and civil engineers);
- sustainability and environmental impact (all);
- plant technology(technological engineers);
Requisites:
- knowledge of first and second level CAD;
- the specific technical programs for simulation;
- spreadsheets and word.

The course is divided into four units:
Unit 1: the integrated project in restoration and redevelopment.
Objective: to provide the general logical structures, models and algorithms of approach to the project of restoration and redevelopment.
Unit 2: the integrated architectural project in restoration and redevelopment.
Objective: to provide the tools for the architectural approach with respect for the historical value of the asset and within its new functionality and communicative performance, so that it can be usable and significant in the intrinsic and operational safety.
Unit 3: the integrated architectural project in restoration and redevelopment
Objective: to provide the tools for the structural approach with respect for the historical value of the asset, so that it can be usable and significant in the intrinsic and operational safety.
Unit 4: the integrated technological project in restoration and rehabilitation
Objective: to provide the tools for the technological approach with respect for the historical value of the asset, so that it can be usable and significant in the intrinsic and operational safety.
The proposed program includes:
- Theory, 160 hours;
- Examples and workshops, 56 hours.
